PEG MGF (PEGylated Mechano Growth Factor) is a stabilized form of Mechano Growth Factor, a peptide derived from IGF-1 that is naturally released in muscle tissue in response to mechanical overload and damage. PEGylation extends the half-life of the compound in the bloodstream, allowing for more sustained anabolic and regenerative activity compared to standard MGF.
PEG MGF is used to activate satellite cells, stimulate muscle repair and regeneration, and promote new muscle fiber formation. It’s particularly beneficial during heavy training blocks, recovery periods, or injury rehabilitation. It can also assist with muscle fullness and density over time.
Benefits
-
Stimulates muscle repair and regeneration
-
Activates satellite cells for new muscle fiber growth
-
Promotes hypertrophy following mechanical overload
-
Enhances recovery from intense training or injury
-
Improves muscle fullness and density
-
Extended half-life allows for fewer injections
Side effects
PEG MGF 5000mcg is generally well-tolerated, but possible side effects include:
-
Mild irritation or redness at injection site
-
Temporary water retention
-
Occasional headaches or light-headedness
-
Rare: fatigue or flu-like symptoms
These effects are typically mild and dose-dependent.
Dosages & Protocol
Dosages for Men and Women:
-
Muscle growth & recovery: 200–400mcg per dose, 2–3 times per week
-
Injury support: Up to 400–500mcg, 2–3 times per week depending on severity and response
-
Cycle length: 4–6 weeks, followed by a short break
-
Best administered post-workout on training days or evenly spaced throughout the week on non-training days
PLEASE MAKE USE OF OUR PEPTIDE CALCULATOR FOR FURTHER DOSAGE GUIDANCE.
How to administer – reconstitution and injection
Reconstitution:
-
Mix the 5000mcg vial with 1–2ml of bacteriostatic water depending on your preferred dosing concentration
-
Inject the water slowly down the side of the vial
-
Swirl gently until completely dissolved
Injection:
-
Use an insulin syringe (1ml)
-
Administer subcutaneously into the abdomen or outer thigh
-
Optional: for targeted recovery, intramuscular injection near the trained or injured area may enhance local effects
-
Dose reference (if reconstituted with 1ml):
-
100mcg = 2 units on an insulin syringe
-
200mcg = 4 units, etc.
-
Storage
-
Before reconstitution: Store in a refrigerator or cool, dry place
-
After reconstitution: Store at 2–8°C and use within 30 days
-
Do not freeze or expose to direct sunlight
Half life & detectability
Half-Life:
-
PEGylated version: Approximately 48–72 hours, allowing for less frequent dosing
Detection Time: -
Not commonly tested in standard screenings but may be detectable in advanced panels for several days to weeks
For athletes subject to drug testing, it is crucial to consider these detection times to avoid positive tests for banned substances.
