Side Effects

As with all anabolic steroids, side effects are possible and this is no exception in this regard. However, it does prove to be one of the better-tolerated versions available, especially among healthy adult males.

For those men who are suffering from low testosterone condition, encountering complications are quite rare as, in effect, all you are doing is replacing the testosterone that your body should be producing, but isn’t. Estrogenic Side Effects: Estrogenic side effects are possible with the most common estrogenic side effect experienced being water retention. Testosterone can and does aromatize and convert to estrogen in the body. The use of an AI (Aromatase Inhibitor) is optional and can help reduce the amount of aromatization that takes place in the body, however, AI’s can also present their own sets of problems. AI’s examples are Aromasin and Arimidex. The second option is to use a SERM (Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator), such as Clomid or Nolvadex to help reduce estrogenic effects. Of the 2 choices, SERM’s are a better option as they present less risk of side effects.

Androgenic Side Effects: has the potential to cause androgenic side effects. Some of the more common androgenic side effects include as hair loss, increase in body hair, and acne. Testosterone is metabolized by the 5-Alpha-reductase enzyme and reduces down to DHT from the influx of testosterone. Hair loss is a major cause for concern for many men, but If you don’t have MPB (*male pattern baldness) in your genetics, then there is no way that this can cause hair loss or balding. Men who do have MPB may find that the increase in testosterone can lead to hair loss and the problem is exasperated or sped up.

Cardiovascular Side effects: can have an effect on the good cholesterol or HDL, which may be reduced and the bad cholesterol, LDL, which may increase. There is also a risk that testosterone may thicken the blood by increasing the levels of haemoglobin and red blood cell numbers. That said, those who use this for therapeutic purposes and within the specified dosing guidelines should not suffer any major impact on their cholesterol. Should the individual be using an AI alongside this compound, then issues may arise, so if possible it is best to avoid using AI’s altogether.

Hepatoxicity Risks: The use of this has shown to be nontoxic to the liver and presents no risks to the individual when using it.

Testosterone Inhibition: This will lead to the suppression of the body’s ability to naturally produce testosterone. If you already have low testosterone levels, then this will have no effect on you or your treatment plan. All anabolic steroids have the ability to suppress testosterone production, and some more so than others. This is known to cause significant reductions in natural testosterone production.

Once treatment with this compound comes to an end, it will be important to perform post cycle therapy to help kick-start the body’s natural production of testosterone. As soon as all of the exogenous hormones have left the system the individual can expect their own testosterone production to begin. However, if the individual was suffering from low testosterone condition before starting this cycle then their natural testosterone production will only be as strong as it was before treatment.
